The COVID-19 Working Capital Access (CWCA) Program is administered by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) and provides critical working capital financing to small businesses located within the Commonwealth that are adversely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Commonwealth has established the COVID-19 Working Capital Access Loan Fund through the Small Business First Fund at Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). There are 60MM dollars in the fund and borrowers can apply for up to $100k. Applicants are required to submit their application through a Certified Economic Development Organization (CEDO). CEDOs accepting applications in our region include: The Redevelopment Authority in the City of Corry (Erie County), Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County, Penn-Northwthest Development Corporation (Mercer County), Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation, and the Northwest Commission.
