Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Two to three years of related training or experience to include experience supporting public board meeting processes
Responsibilities
The essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the following:
1. Provide administrative and clerical support to NWPA Job Connect Board and Committees and associated staff and partners as required.
2. Coordinate agendas and related information for NWPA Job Connect Board, and Committee meetings as needed.
3. Provide travel arrangements for staff and board members as requested.
4. Mail handling, answering phones, and reporting as required.
5. Update contact information for Board, CLEOs, Staff, and Partners in databases.
6. Assist with building maintenance and equipment support and repairs and serve as in-office IT contact for outside vendors.
7. Attend training/seminars to support professional development.
8. Proofread, edit, and format documents for publication, as requested.
9. Maintain efficient and organized paper and electronic file structure.
10. Provide Human Resources support such as posting openings, conducting the hiring process, coordinating personnel files, administering benefit programs, and conducting benefit compliance
11. Conduct board coordination activities such as logistics for board and committee meetings (and other support activities), schedule and organize virtual and in-person meetings, arranging public notice (when appropriate), taking notes and creating meeting minutes, preparing complete meeting documentation for participants
12. Perform other assigned duties as required for the success of the organization.

- Handle multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Maintain confidentiality of all NW PA WDB work related activities.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including writing reports, procedure manuals, and business correspondence and interpreting a variety of policies and instructions provided in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Organize and Prioritize.
- Must be a team player, able to work independently and establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, associates, outside agencies and general public.
- Basic office skills such as computer literacy, use of email and internet, phone systems, typing, experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), filing and knowledge of operation of office machines.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate a truck/motor vehicle to travel offsite.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
This job is currently remote with occasional in-person work in Meadville, PA. Full return to in-person possible in the future.
