2015 Industry Club Expo

First Place Winners

The 2015 Industry Club EXPO was held at Cross Creek on May 12th. There were 25 schools competing this year with over 200 students in attendance from across the Northwest Region. More than 300 students participated in the actual clubs throughout the school year. The schools that participated were: Oil City, Franklin, Rocky Grove, North Clarion, AC Valley, Keystone, Clarion-Limestone, Clarion, West Forest, House of Mercy, Maritime, Conneaut Lake, Meadville, JoAnna Connell, Diehl, Harding, Roosevelt, Wayne, Wilson A, Wilson B., Eisenhower, 2 from Beaty, Youngsville, and Sheffield. Expo is the culmination of all Industry Clubs that take place throughout the year run by Venango Training and Development Center and the schools through TANF funding. The students that participate are middle school students from all over the Northwest PA. On the day of EXPO each of the clubs choose 1 of the 8 Industry Clusters pertinent to our area to do a presentation on. At EXPO each of the clubs are judged by local employers and community partners. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies are awarded.

3rd place Conneaut Lake Middle School

2nd place Beaty

1st place Clarion Area

Congratulations to all students that participated. They all did an amazing job.
