WDB Members

 

The NWPA Workforce Development Board (WDB) is comprised of members representing business, labor, education, social services, and government agencies throughout Northwest Pennsylvania. Working in cooperation with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, planning commissions, and others, the Board focuses its development activities on key industry segments that include electronics manufacturing, food processing, construction, health care, metal fabrication, plastics, technology, lumber and hardwoods, oil and gas, transportation, and mining. The Board also administers federal and state funds for programs targeted to adults, dislocated workers, and young people through five PA CareerLink® offices in Erie, Crawford, Clarion, Oil Region (Venango), and Warren

 

Dr. Aldo Jackson

Dean of Erie Operations (Administration)
Employer: Northern PA Regional College
   

Aldo is the Deal of Erie Operations at Northern Pennsylvania Regional College. He holds a Ph. D. in Vocational Education, a M. Ed. In Business Education, and a B.S. in Marketing & Distributive Education.

 

Prior professional experience includes director of the Erie County Technical School, an instructor with the workforce Education department at the Pennsylvania State University, being a marketing education teacher, and adult education director. He has a thorough understanding of quality and continuous improvement practices. Aldo also has extensive experience with workforce development training programs. Outside of work, Aldo enjoys hiking, gardening, auto racing and alternative music.
