Ring Doorbell Technology to be Introduced to PA CareerLink® of Erie County and Oil City

Last year Ring Doorbell technology was introduced at the Warren County Chamber of Business & Industry (WCCBI) to provide job seekers an alternative way to connect with PA CareerLink® staff during working hours.  Due to the success of the technology in Warren and limited hours and locations for in-person consulting, the partners have decided to also place Ring Doorbell technology at the PA CareerLink® offices in Erie and Oil City. 

This technology helps to provide local area residents the potential/ability to interact with the staff while they are teleworking. Job seekers will be able to set up appointments to meet with staff virtually or in-person during hours of operation to:

• Determining your skill sets
• Plan a career path that’s right for you
• Polish your interviewing skills
• Connect with training programs to gain new job skills
• Build a resume
• Find and get the right job for you!

Ring Doorbell technology will be installed at both the Erie and Oil City offices by February 26, 2021.

As a reminder:

The Erie PA CareerLink® will be open to in person appointments for those unable to connect virtually with PA CareerLink® staff.  Times will be limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

At this time, the PA CareerLink® in Oil City will remain closed but staff will still be available to work virtually with clients.
