WDB Members


The NWPA Workforce Development Board (WDB) is comprised of members representing business, labor, education, social services, and government agencies throughout Northwest Pennsylvania. Working in cooperation with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, planning commissions, and others, the Board focuses its development activities on key industry segments that include electronics manufacturing, food processing, construction, health care, metal fabrication, plastics, technology, lumber and hardwoods, oil and gas, transportation, and mining. The Board also administers federal and state funds for programs targeted to adults, dislocated workers, and young people through five PA CareerLink® offices in Erie, Crawford, Clarion, Oil Region (Venango), and Warren

Laura's initial career path started in accounting, but it did not take her long to realize she preferred working with people over numbers.  Prior to joining C&J and focusing fully on the functions of HR, Laura utilized her people and number skills as an Office Manager in different professional venues from manufacturing to retail. Now, Laura holds an Associates Degree in Business Management as well as a Professional in Human Resourecs (PHR) certification. Outside of work, Laura enjoys visiting her kids, kayaking, playing volleyball, and traveling.
