Advanced Diversified Manufacturing Industry Partnership

ADMP Logo

The Advanced Diversified Manufacturing Industry Partnership (ADM IP) is dedicated to bringing together employers from the Metals, Plastics, Electronics and Food Industries in order to improve our regions manufacturing competitiveness.

The ADMIP is designed not only to identify human resource needs and skill gaps, but to address them by implementing strategies and training to improve incumbent workers’ skills and to provide career ladders that spur innovation and increased efficiency and productivity.

In addition, industry partnership work closely with schools, youth councils, support organizations and others to help students focus on the in-demand, high-skill jobs of today's global economy. The collaboration between workforce development and economic development agents at both the state and local levels has created a skill-ready environment in Pennsylvania that is becoming a significant attraction for employers and businesses looking for a competitive workforce. Through industry partnership, businesses fully understand that a better-educated workforce means a more competitive company and more competitive companies create a stronger economy. An industry partnership is a shared venture between government, industry and the community. All participants are equal investors with a shared goal. The industry partnership concept is not just about worker training; it is about constantly evaluating labor-market data and information to stay competitive on the local, state, national and global levels.

Our three major themes:

  • Youth Development: Providing exposure of manufacturing careers to today’s youth
  • Pipeline Development: Providing career pathways to today’s existing workforce
  • Industry Advocacy: Providing a collective voice for regional manufacturers
