Lisa brings over 26 years of experience to the local workforce development system in program development, grant management and project administration from within the County Government, non-profit and private sectors. Lisa’s workforce experience includes the oversight of two (2) Adult Vocational Facilities, two (2) Adult Training Facilities and one (1) Mobile Workforce program. Her experience includes working with rural and underserved populations and communities. Lisa has extensive experience with fiscal management/budgeting, state/federal regulatory requirements, data collection, research, and securing state/federal funding for new program development. Lisa has held Board positions in the following capacities: Criminal Justice Advisory Boards, Shelter Service, Inc., the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Task Force for Reentry, Communities That Care, Juniata County Prevention Board, Juniata Valley Behavioral Development Services Advisory Board, along with the Mifflin and Juniata County Multi-Disciplinary Teams.

Deb brings over 22 years of experience in the local workforce development system of the six-county region, beginning in 1998 under the Job Training Partnership Act. The local workforce development system transitioned to the Workforce Investment Act, which was implemented locally in 1999. Having been an integral part of the evolution of workforce development in the region over time, her experience and knowledge will support and assist the region to more effectively transition to the requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

Her previous work experience included over 14 years in healthcare during the implementation of managed care, as well as responsibility for specialty projects such as physician recruitment, cardiology, and sleep lab planning, as well as other healthcare facility expansion projects. She played a key role in supporting healthcare leadership with the challenging merger of two rural medical centers into a single, state-of-the-art healthcare facility for the region.
